Tenleytown Main Street kicks off Art All Night with live music and dancing at the Metro Plaza (Wisconsin Ave & Albemarle St) at 7:00 p.m. Follow the Afro-Brazilian drum corps Batala along Wisconsin Avenue as they herald the start of the arts festival, passing each of Tenleytown’s 14 art and performance venues. 

The procession ends across from Keller Williams Capital Properties (4000
Chesapeake St) with a concert by Batala.

VENUE 1: “The Broadcast” (4620 Wisconsin Avenue)

TITLE OF EVENT: Art and the Art of a Drink
TIME: 7- midnight
Explore artwork on display and mingle with the artists at the future home of “The Broadcast,” a new
retail-residential project planned for Tenleytown. Plus enjoy live dance performances, and sample
signature cocktails from some of DC’s finest mixologists.

Keller Williams offers an enticing, eclectic stage for visual and performing arts. From paintings to sculpture, poetry to acoustic performances, classic to modern dance, Art All Night visitors can find it all at this expansive venue just around the corner from Wisconsin Avenue. Not to worry - should all the art work up an appetite, Al Sur Latin Kitchen and Catering will have empanadas available.

 Mohini Malhotra will show curated art by women in emerging markets, as well as perform readings
of short fiction and poetry.
 Michael Kent performs live on the guitar and piano, creating a soundtrack for his paintings on

For our over-21 guests, tickets for the Art of the Drink will also be available for purchase at the Welcome Center.

Explore DC street scenes, encounter voodoo priestesses, create a Japanese bonbori lantern, and more!

 Works created by plein air painters earlier in the evening will be on display and available for
purchase, as well.
The Japanese bonbori lantern is specially made for festivals. Join artist Margaret Vaughan Siebel to learn the traditional method for creating bonbori with sticks and beautiful hand-made paper from Japan, India, and Thailand. The finished lantern is perfect as a tabletop centerpiece. Add a votive, and the lantern casts a warm and lovely glow. All ages welcome; children under 13 accompanied by an
adult. This free art experience takes about 15-20 minutes.

VENUE 6: Middle C Music, 4530 Wisconsin Ave.
TIME: 7 - 11 pm
Peek inside District politics as Lateef Mangum, who served as the official photographer for five D.C.
mayors, exhibits his work at Middle C Music. Watercolor artist Sandra Verna will also display her work.
Enjoy live music performances throughout the evening.
